Maxwell Silver Matching Service began 1979 in New Orleans, Louisiana as a partnership formed between Tom Maxwell and his father, then known as TM Enterprises.
Sterling silver flatware and hollowware would be purchased from wholesalers, shops, and individuals, then refurbished and sold at antique shows in southern and mid western states, as well as a physical store-front within a timepiece shop located in Metairie, LA.
The Maxwell's restored silver for individuals, collectors, and museums, alike. In 1988, the business was moved to Paradise in northern California and silver sold at antique shows.
Years later, silver plate items were added to inventory and when the senior Maxwell retired from the business the name was changed to Maxwell Silver Matching Service.
Tom currently appears at 12 antique shows a year in California, Oregon, and Texas; customers can also acquire silver items by phone or through the web.
Professional polishing and restoration are offered to customers, and at affordable prices.

I'm Tom Maxwell.
I've been attending at least twelve trade shows a year showing our fine inventory of silver including some wonderful pieces that are more than a hundred years old!
Whether you need a simple piece as an add-on to an existing place setting, a few pieces to round out an antique silver collection, or an entire collection, we're sure to have what you're looking for.
Take a look at just some of the wonderful pieces I handle, and then me know what interests you!
