"First Love" is one of the most elegant and sought after of the Art Deco Patterns. This four piece set in silver plate by 1847 Rogers Bothers International was first introduced in 1937 and though discontinued is still very popular to this day.
The set consists of a large pot serving as both a coffee pot and tea pot, a creamer with gold wash interior and a sugar bowl with lid. The pieces are displayed on a "First Love" 18 inch oval waiter with external handles

Introduced in 1936, this has been the most popular silver plate pattern ever produced by Oneida Ltd. of Oneida, New York. Community silver represents their highest quality line of silver plate. The pattern was to have been for the coronation of Edward VIII in 1936 but his marriage to Wallis Simpson and abdication resulted in his brother, George, ascending to the throne.
